About Us
Our organisation was formed the same year as a Software Engineering course at SDU was made.
Too many people got accepted, and the first semester felt like chaos. So we decided to fix it, form Sphinx, and work to improve the situation for newcomers.
Summer allowed us to prepare, form important connections and establish ourselves despite university’s best attempts to make the process as slow and unbearable as possible.
Our Goal
Sphinx is an organisation mainly for SE students. We want to help new students integrate at SDU – by planning many different events, such as:
Social Gatherings
Game Nights
Software-oriented challenges
And much more!
We stand for helpful and happy student life, as we personally know how introverted people studying SE typically are. We plan to help students connect to study or project groups and professional opportunities, to improve the academic life at SDU and have a much smoother transition into a working life after university.
Now we are open and ready for new students to join, enjoy the student’s life, participate in events and much more!
